At DCS, this is the top sticker production request of all time.
“Can I print on the back?”
The answer: YES. But you’ll have to get Screen-Printed Stickers.
Here’s why: Digitally-Printed Stickers come on rolls of vinyl, making it nearly impossible to feed them back into a printer while maintaining proper alignment and registration. Due to the sheet-fed process of screen-printing, it’s relatively easy to flip the sheets over and keep everything tightly aligned.
We typically recommend keeping the print 2 colors or less to maintain quality and limit bleeding.
Take a look at the examples above we printed for the Shane McConkey Foundation featuring a great quote and think about how back printing might work with your next sticker project.
