Tony Hawk and the Birdhouse Skate Team invaded Seattle's Jefferson Skate Park on Beacon hill Thursday, turning the park into a makeshift carnival. Sponsors Truth, Nixon, Quiksilver, Ollo Clip, Ride Channel, and our pals YoYo Factory had booths set up handing out prizes, showing off their wares, and generally blowing kid's minds with awesomeness.
The DCS crew managed to sneak out for an hour to check out the scene, say hi to some pals, chat a bit with Tony Hawk's wonderful sister, and witness a sick Yo Yo demo. Get to know our friends at YoYo Factory to see some of the most amazing tricks and talented individuals in the world of Yo.
Northwest weather cooperated wonderfully and even though we had to scoot out before the big skate demo, we know a good time was had by all. Big thanks to everyone involved and good luck on the last tour stop in Vancouver B.C.
