Summer is over in the Pacific Northwest.
That's a tough pill for most to swallow, but the days are visibly shorter and temperatures are already starting a slow descent. While most folks will retreat to their homes or start to add layers to their wardrobe, the homeless citizens of Seattle begin to layer up pensive fears & anxiety over the impending weather change. Now's our chance to help ease the burden of life on the street for our less fortunate neighbors. All September long we'll be collecting warm clothing donations to be passed out directly at homeless encampments around the city.
Clean out your closets and join us Sept. 8 - Sept. 30 in trying to make winter a little warmer by dropping off items at our South Seattle HQ or arranging donation pick-ups.
