A Skate Park Is Born...
When K2 Sports decided to make a big move and consolidated their business footprint, the famed warehouse ramp was destined to be the first casualty. Luckily, the DCS crew was in the right place at the right time to claim this incredible structure for our very own.
All we had to do was clear a 4,000 sq. ft. path.
The Catch
Transporting a massive skate ramp is quite the undertaking and ultimately a destructive process. Disassembling the bowl and mini-ramp, moving it piece-by-piece, and arranging it in our warehouse led to quite a few breaks, snaps, cracks, dents, chips, and losses. Currently the park is being rebuilt DONE after an 8 month journey of hammering, screwing, and sweeping. Wanna come skate? Contact us for info.
