About
Look around your office and your communityâ¦notice anything? Most of the individuals in decision-making roles are over 50. While retirement may not be as close as some may have thought before the recession, the fact remains the same - young professional represent the future of our community.
As baby boomers slowly inch away from their regular responsibilities at work and in our communities, our generation will be left carrying the proverbial torch. While the much-feared mass exodus of baby boomers from the workforce looks unlikely, YPs are going to be required to step up and lead our communities over the next decade.
In order to lead effectively, YPs will need to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and relationships. SCYPN programs and events are aimed at further developing these three areas providing insightful guest speakers, group volunteer activities and engaging social events.
